The X5 is such an important vehicle to BMW that they cannot afford it not be a 5 star ... anyway excellent

As far as I can recall every generation of the X5 has received a 5 star crash rating. Glad to see that BMW has continued the tradition.

I hope they fixed the damn A/C system. Only thing I hate about my F15 X5.

I had a 2017 Volvo XC90 and it was very nice but it was plagued with software issues. Ended up going lemon law and won. Over 30 days out of service. Hope (praying) I am not going to get the same from my new X5 5.0.

This must be 2018 Build year.
Clearly from looking at the report, video and photos, this is G05 which is being built in South Carolina starting October 2018 with model year of 2019
Can not be 2019 build year, we haven't crossed into 2019 yet.

in the US you can have a MY of X+1 on the first day of that year. For 2019 as of 1/1/19 you can legally sell a 2020 MY vehicle

Front collision impact smoothed out the rear seat wrinkles...but only for 0.23 seconds.

That was pretty funny Dave!

Note also the greens for the 3rd row seats with belts. Good news.
