Nice S3! Both that and the new Golf R seem really impressive.

i love the package (turbo, quattro, audi interior, price, etc), but the car just doesn't look muscular enough for me. especially the rear

wheel & tire upgrade will help

i'm sure it's a blast to drive
make sure to post some better pics and a review. congrats!

Congrats on the car. I'm going to get rid of the D as well. Same reasons as you mentioned, although I'll move onto a Chevy SS. I'll hit 100k miles by that time.

Congrats! Looks very nice. Love the size and proportions of the new S3. Does the S3 and the new Golf R share the same chassis?

I was actually really considering the S3 until I test drove it and realized it drove like a FWD. Then I did some research and according to Motortrend:

Quote:
The new S3 is based on front-drive architecture but of course comes with standard Quattro all-wheel drive.
I'm not sure if it is similar to a CLA45 where it is basically a 60/40 AWD. Where it is usually FWD but the rear wheels kick in when it feels that it is losing traction.

Very good looking car, I think they hit it out the park with the design of the car.

Interior is beautiful.
Do you find the rear seat more usable then the R? Since it's not a hatch.
