The Tudor Black Bay is a fairly new addition, which I got in a trade a couple of weeks back for a Grand Seiko hi beat gmt.

From time to time I buy/sell/trade watches as a hobby
Love your IWC.

As for me, I have the hulk (Rolex green sub), 2 Panerais-- the PAM 1312 (which I absolutely love and bought in January), and the PAM 564-- which I also really like but isn't seeing much wrist time, and finally the new Breitling Colt skyracer-- which in contrast to my 1312 is like wearing nothing on your wrist.

Like you, I like to trade out watches. Will probably sell my PAM 564 soon, and trade out the green sub for the new grey yachtmaster in a couple of years.

JC, you and I are like brothers from another mother. Both of us are ex MINI pilots, own a LLB M2, and Omega fans. Mine's a 3570.50 Speedy Pro, that I also bought about 20 years ago when I got my first "real" job

Really? A thread where you can show off your snazzy watches while you're sitting in your M2's "cockpit?" This comes across as, well, a little douchey, don't ya think?

That thread's in the off-topic area where it's completely appropriate. Plus, it doesn't predominantly feature pics of watch-adorned wrists posed in front of BMW steering wheels...that's the humble-brag part that's particularly gag-inducing. Well, that and the fact that this thread is somehow in the M2 general discussion area.

Who knows...maybe when I finally get my M2 I'll get the urge to strap on my Omega and snap a wrist selfie.

An appreciation for nice mechanical things equates to douchey? 2 Nice machines in one photo is pretty cool. I'm assuming it's the "flaunting" of money that's distasteful? You better steer clear of Ferrari forums. Gotta have a patek to roll in there. In the group of people I work with, they think I'm cheap for getting an m2 and a rolex. Seen as relatively low brow. Guess it's all a matter of perspective

Work hard, enjoy your toys. And if someone wants to check em out, even better.
Cheers

There's a safe place for everyone. If you're already driving a $60k car, is there an room left for "humble"?

If you appreciate nice things, cars, watches, travels, it's all fair. If you're worry about "douchey", sell the M2, buy a Prius and join the Toyota forum.

I don't get this. So should no one post pictures of their M2s since technically that's "bragging"? I get being humble but this an enthusiast forum for cars and this is obviously a thread for watch enthusiasts. What's so wrong with that?

Your opinion is fine. It seems like lots of people who have been on this board for a while enjoy this thread. If you don't like it, just steer clear. There are tons of threads all over the forum that I think are boring or even lame, but I just move on. No need to blast the guys having a good time with their toys.
