Interior is black, it's just the bright lighting - you can also note the anthracite alcantara headliner in his interior.

BMW hasn't done grey soft touch interior panels (not leather, like current ///M vehicles with Silverstone leather) since early E Series - eg E39, E53, E46...

I saw a DG X5 at the dealer today, albeit inside under lighting.

I came from a Mineral Grey F30 and I'm glad I went for Tanzanite on my X5 - I'd have been disappointed with Dravit (based on what I saw) if I'd paid extra for it.

Maybe outdoors it's better but the MG to DG jump wouldn't have been big enough.

YMMV.
