LCI X5/X6/X7 M60i downpipe available

RedStar just posted picture of their brand new downpipe for M60i.
Unlike M50i, it looks like M60i's stock downpipe is very similar to ones in previous X5M where we can either do full downpipe upgrade or simply do secondary cat delete.

Here is link for full downpipe.

Here is link for secondary cat delete.

I will most likely do full downpipe later this year, but want to see if anyone is planning to do just secondary cat delete and see if it brings out any good improvement to the pathetic sounding stock exhaust.

Please provide any feedback on the sound improvement if you decide to do just secondary delete!

I'll second that. We need help with the exhaust level on these M60is.
They baseline on a tuner's dyno over 580HP but sound like a Prius going up the street.

Anyone end up doing this? Curious to hear more thoughts - and also how tough the install was.

The video clip of the X7 does sound good but curious to hearing more clips if anyone has done this on their X5.

I highly recommend Redstars dp's I bought a secondary with the heat shield (must get option imho only because I noticed even oem has a tiny part heat shielded in a very similar form and other brands don't have any at all or some janky wrap version that seems very cheap, I appreciate craftsmanship) for my x5m and immediately noticed a difference in sound. The only negative is the cold start is truly obnoxious and slightly embarrassing in certain settings. I would go full catless if you love to hear the turbos wizzing.

I just want to point out that X5M has more free flowing and louder exhaust from the factory than M60i so just upgrading secondary might be sufficient for some. However, I think upgrading just the secondary on M60i will probably not going to produce any significant sound upgrade for the price ($1500+ for part and install labor).

Kudos to having parts available for the M60i but the M tax is real on this one.
