What do you keep in your glovebox?

I notice some people keep a ton of stuff in there glovebox. I like to keep mine pretty much empty. What about everyone else?

Me not much, wife uses the glove box to convert good cd's into junk by leaving them out of their covers, and a hiding place for other random items that really don't need to be stored in the car

That looks like the trunk tray, not the glove box.

Title, registration, recent work done on the car, and a backup pair of sunglasses. Oddly, no gloves.

For the wife's car, It'd be easier for me to tell you what's not in there. I think she's a doomsday prepper though.

Z4 has no space in the glove box. Insurance and registration (folded multiple times to fit) and a small flashlight.

I recetnly lost my original leather man from like 15 years ago. So i got a new one. Literally, the day my new one arrived i saw that my wife jacked the original one to keep in her jeep.

This is the one i got, which is pretty stinking awesome for a multi tool.

Yes, this is dependent on the state you're in. FL, no problem. I've recently met several people who thought you needed a CCL to keep a firearm in the glove box or any where in the car. They are often surprised to find out that you can have one in the chamber, cocked and ready to go in the glove box without any special license.

IS that true? you don't need a CWP to carry a loaded firearm in the glovebox?

Nothing in the glove box except an EZ-pass (if I have it with me...I don't leave it in the car).

Insurance, registration, E21 flashlight, small leatherman, and a pen in the console. All nicely tucked/stored in a Maxpedition EDC pocket organizer.

I honestly wouldn't keep my pistol in my glovebox. Its a bad idea whenever you get pulled over and forget it's there and you go to get license and registration. Unless you keep your papers in a different place but thats where mine are. I have the same pistol in my car (I love my rugers I have an SR9C and an SR40) but I keep mine in the door panel in the thing that flips out. So much easier to get to and hidden to those you don't want to know its there.

If a police officer doesn't know its there it's just one less reason he has to be a dick to you. Unless he asks if theres a weapon in the car, then you tell him.
