TPMS Error - ALP Laser/Escort Direct Wiring

Hi all. I'm getting a TPMS error after having installed an ALP laser system and direct wiring an Escort Redline 360c. Dealer has checked TPMS sensors/system twice and claims this is due to ALP and/or Escort. Someone mentioned being careful with where wiring was done relative to fuses. Anyone come across this and/or have ideas on a solve? The error does go away when I turn off the ALP...leads me to believe there is something to what the dealer is saying...appreciate it!

Without a spectrum analyzer, it would be hard to say exactly what's causing the interference, but shutting one device off and your TPMS works is a pretty good indication of the perpetrator.

The receiver for the TPMS talks to the other computers via the CANBUS, so, depending on how the new wires were run, you could cause enough noise on the CANBUS so the main computer logs an error, or the Escort is leaking enough noise to cause the problem. The TPMS used on BMW in the USA run on the 480MHz band, if I remember correctly (they use a different band in Europe).

So, the Escort could be leaking enough RF noise to corrupt the TPMS signal, or something is corrupting the CANBUS...figuring it out other than process of elimination, is time-consuming, and if you're paying for it, expensive.
