Congrats on the 911. You’ll love it more and more over time. You’ll find that it’s in a unique spot. There are faster, cheaper or more expensive cars, but Porsches tend to hold up over time.

Congrats on the car! I miss my 997.2 gts cab. The visceral experience really brightened up my daily commute. Highly recommend adding a Sharkwerks center muffler bypass to really make her sing.

Mine, like most gts variants, was white. I'm surprised you couldn't find one with black interior. The blue definitely stands out and will help maintain value. It also had standard black wheels with chrome ring which I wasn't crazy about.

The engine was solid but I had to replace a thermostat and fix a coolant leak in the 14 months I had her. Purchased at 58k miles and added 4k miles. Didn't bother with bore scope during PPI.

That's the exact car i wanted, white GTS. They are stupid expensive, solid 25k more than my car plus taxes on that 25K, so I had to take it down a notch. My preferred colour was white but i literally saw no C2S in 2 years with a black or grey interior, they were all cocoa or blue or beige, i couldn't do it.

Here’s mine. I have had many cars since I started driving 32 yrs ago, over 50, including many AMG, M, V, SRT, S, etc but my 2019 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS (manual) blows them all away. Fast, fully usable, looks great, handled amazingly, sounds wonderful, dependable, and so on. There is no compromise to a Porsche, the others, always. Color is Chalk.

Chalk and Nardo Grey are the only two grey hues which are actually eye-catching and cool IMO. One of my more senior colleagues has a Chalk 992 cabriolet, looks amazing.

I said to hell with it today. I'm not going to buy a Z/Supra/Camaro/Mustang (BRZ and Miata were the lower price options) like I originally wanted. I'm just not going to have a payment that is close to my mortgage (one advantage to living in OKC is cheap housing).

So I just ordered an Ignition Red '23 BRZ Limited, manual of course. Expected deliver is August/September which is perfect as I have two bonuses coming up over the summer.

Nice the BRZ/86 is a great driver's car.

I had a 6MT FRS (back when the Scion name still existed) few years ago and really liked it. Yes it lacked power but the fun came from driving the car 10/10ths every day.

I bought a new '15 BRZ, back in Oct '14. Super fun car, especially with a Ground Controls, 18x9.5 RPF1s wrapped in 255/35 Star Specs, MXP exhaust and E85 tune.

The engine in the new one is apparently underrated. The spec sheet shows only 25 more crank HP, yet they are all consistently dynoing 45whp more than the older ones. They also make more tq and the peak is much lower so there is a wider powerband.

I haven't driven a new one yet. But yeah, I'm not worried about having put down a non-refundable deposit. And the Limited comes with 18s and decent tires (PS4) vs the 17" Primacy on the lower trim level and the 1st gen.

Especially as the aftermarket starts to catch up. But I still don't plan on doing a whole lot to it. I don't want to ruin the street manners of it like I did with my 1st gen.

Comes with PS4's??? That's really surprising, they are super expensive. I need 4 for the 911, FMD $2K.

i had a '14 FRS back in the day and do miss it.

i really want to test drive a new one but they are snapped up from the dealer before they even arrive. They do put down really good numbers. road and track got 228 whp on their dyno. its essentially the power to weight ratio of an e46 m3. (275whp / 3400 lbs vs 228whp / 2800 lbs)

Yeah, PS4, not the PS4S.

Looks like for the dainty stock, 215/40/18s, they are still just over $1k for a set.

Along with those tires, this is what the Limited get's you over the premium for about $2500 more.

Leather/Ultrasuede®-trimmed upholstery
18-inch alloy wheels
Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 tires
Heated front seats
LED Steering Responsive Headlights
