m50i model oil grade
Sorry if this was asked but I didn't see one.
I am wondering the oil grade to put in my x6 m50i. I am from Canada and usually I put 91 as it is the high grade. I then discovered 94 as I never cared about other grades but since getting the x6m50i I started to care more about those things. I put in 91 into my car twice, then I switched to 94 now. I am wondering if 94 is the best option, and would 91 not be recommended and would putting 91s into my car damage the engine? Thank you! |

91 Octane is fine that's what I normally use. We are fairly lucky here in Ontario and most of Canada since most of our gas is ethanol free, and that is a plus.

Best octane is the lowest octane that won't detonate- both for the engine and your wallet.
