You know what, Malaysia is yet to launch X2 or iX2. Will be somewhere around April / May this year. They only sold 15xxx number of BMW here a year.
The build date will be on door post.

Trust me it is affected. The US sites don't show but the European recall site will show car as being affected

About a 50% chance it is effected if it was built during the recall time period. I think the US site is now showing the recall for all effected but doesn't hurt to check the European site or the recall tools:

When I enter my VIN on the Belgian BMW recall website I see I have an open recall on my 50e.
Recall code: 0034670200

Is this about the braking system or something else?

M60i 7/24/23 production here. Checked when this thread first came up and again now across 3 different recall check sites (including the ...at/de... site) - mine not showing any recalls.

This agrees with what TB is saying... I saw previous post, July build that does have the recall, mine doesn't.

Same here with my 9/2023 build. I checked all three sites and the only thing that popped up was the knee airbag stop sale that they took care of before delivery.

I called my dealer and made an appointment in March to replace the part in the braking system.

Don't know what they will do as there won't be a remedy until April.

Something else. It's a technical enhancement not recall.

There have been some folks who have had I done since the parts are available but the letters will not be going out until April so most dealers will not do anything until then.

I just found this recall concern on the internet while searching for the reason for STOP SALE on the 50e. Now this!

I guess one should be thankful they have a reliable 2021 model year X5.

FYI my newly ordered 2024 X6 was affected by this. Today the dealer is expecting the parts so they can install and proceed with registering the car so I can collect hopefully at the end of this week if not next week.

FYI for those who are waiting, there is movement!

I had an appointment at my dealer today for this repair. Just to hear when dropping my car off that they didn’t have the parts so I could drive back home

No new date for the repair.

Another nice one from BMW

Sounds like a dealership fail?

Yes. BMW in general fails quite a lot when I look at my latest 2 BMW's.
I don't have that premium feeling anymore which I got with my other BMW's in the past.
