Interesting… just to be clear Anthracite is a color, and Alcantara is a material. You can have an Anthracite colored headliner without it being Alcantara. Anthracite colored headliner could be an M sport exclusive like you said.

If you got Alcantara at an extra cost ($650), it would have either been Anthracite or white (iirc). I don't know if the Alcantara option was restricted to only M sport cars.

Mine was a Feb 2021 build with just about every option including M Sport, fwiw.

Ivory white needs maintenance.I go for fitness studio so I need to cover my seats after workout. Secondly you need to clean them depends on your OCD.I realized I should have considered Tartufo or coffee.
Pytonic blue was good but after 18months I am not liking it any more(my personal opinion)

It's only been a few weeks for me and so far, no regerts! I did purchase the interior warranty from the dealership and plan to carry some sort of leather cleaning wipes in the car for when the kids start to destroy it.

As others have said, the ivory definitely has more wow factor than the black and that is coming from someone who loves black interiors and has had them in BMW's for the last fifteen years. I ordered our most recent car at the start of this year and spec'd black interior again but due to delays and parts shortages my dealer ended up offering me an identical car except for - ivory instead of black leather. We went for it and we have never had so many comments about the interior of a car. People love it.
We also have a German Shepherd so I am pretty meticulous about cleaning all areas inside. I use Autoglym leather cleaner and balm but as someone else said, the hoovering takes longer than looking after the leather!

Can’t really speak to it as my car isn’t going to be in until next week, but if you like it go for it! I wanted something a little different and went for the Ivory with Black Sapphire and CF trim. Just go into it knowing what to expect, it’s white so you’re going to get a bit of transfer from blue jeans etc. I’m going to coat my interior with Coloulock leather shield and just wipe it down every couple weeks or as needed. Enjoy it!

Nice ..love the black M sport seat belts on ivory interior , unfortunately I have the ivory merino but with beige ( matching seatbelts) while it doesn’t look bad it is hard to clean and they get dirty pretty quick with just using them on daily basis .. is there anyway I can replace my seatbelts for OEM black m sport seatbelts ? If anyone knows please send a link , thx
