remote software upgrade
So I download the update to my phone and app says download completed. Says car needs to be connected to the phone. All green since Bluetooth, apps and wifi are all connected to my phone, but the update never transfers to my car. I've waited a few weeks to see if anything happens automatically, but no luck. I can't find anything in the car settings or in the app to get things moving... What am I missing? Have a 2022 45e currently on 11/2022.60 trying to update to 03/2023.50. Thank you!

If you're using an iPhone, go into settings, then select the My BMW app, and enable local network. Connected means the typical phone stuff is connected (i.e., phone calls, etc.), but you need the local network connected to act like a hard drive to get the data file.

I’ve been at that stage now 3 times w different updates…and can’t get any to install. They go through all the stages…loads to phone…loads to car. They eventually expire. Super frustrating. Even bought the trickle charger to make sure my battery was topped off. Nothing.
