The button on bottom tailgate to lower the X5 doesn't work?
I just tried it, and I don't think it's lowering the X5, is there supposed to be a setting or some condition car needs to be for it to work?

Duh! Thanks, it works with doors closed, it seems to have a delay, maybe it lowers front first then rear. I thought it only lowered the rear. I really should sit and read the manual.

Air suspension lowers front first then rear - not to blind oncoming drivers (even though you're in drive way) - and rear then front when raising. But ja have to have the doors closed.

They do auto-level when you turn on the vehicle and driving to keep the road in front of you illuminated. There's operational horizontal (15 degrees left and right) and vertical cone of light range.
Here's a visual example: If you were stopped at an intersection light with your X5 on an incline (with self leveling adaptive LED headlight at max vertical cone of light pointing down) and the air suspension went arse down first then your headlight would be blinding oncoming traffic until the front lowered, which can take approx from: 9-10s from Normal to Sport 18-20s from Normal to Load level / 10-12s from Load to Normal 12s from Sport to Load level / 6.5s from Load to Sport 9.5-9.75s from Normal to H1 6s from H1 to H2 16s from H2 to Normal Oddly it takes longer for air suspension to lower than raise.
