The hamstring support on the front seats have conformed to the heating coil or foam and give it a clam shell look (took less than a month). Not absolutely horrible looking, but quite noticeable. Fortunately I do not have any wrinkling or excessively loose leather (yet). I had a Lincoln with a similar issue and the interior fit&finish on my Q7 was nearly flawless and remained so until I traded it in 5 years later. Leather was taught, all interior and exterior gaps were small, symmetrical or non-existent (interior only) and the materials never deteriorated. Unfortunately this loaded X5 came with some large and assymetrical trim gaps. Is it possible the difference is place of assembly US vs Germany? Maybe the sedans have better fit/finish.
