Great inspirations Emmanuel ... I also work on some comms to BMW Germany / Headquarters.

It's an unacceptable situation ... not that the strom happened, but how BMW is dealing with its customers ... each online shop is more transparent if something happens. Now 8 weeks are gone and BMW isn't able to give any official details - neither to their dealers nor to their customers.

Since today, no more codes are visible on the recall page (DE & AT) + de API shows status closed.
I'll check with my dealer later today if he received any update.

My codes are still open and haven‘t changed. It remains psychologically difficult to have ordered the first X5 50e in Berlin in 3/2023 and still have no hint as to a possible outcome …

Same situation here for the X5 I ordered in Belgium
Got the message from my dealer about the storm on October 20.
Since then always the same answer when i'm asking for an update => We have no further information .. Soo frustrating !

I think it depends from dealer to dealer. My dealer promised to communicate transparently about this and does.
Got another update last night after my comment that the stop code had disappeared online, that they had also just received an internal email that all cars have been checked for the concession and further communication will follow soon. So things are finally starting to move forward.

Yes well my dealer was very helpful when ordering the car but now like he doesn't care..anyways, nothing much to do other than waiting I guess

It's because they don't know anything. They receive lists from BMW Belux with cleared cars, so far +500 cars have been cleared. My dealer is halfway with his list of affected cars.

My car is not yet cleared.

Great news:
My car finally arrived at dealership:
There is hope for everyone here.

It took almost 3 weeks after the codes were changed to Close and became green
