Looks like they announced the M50i for 2020, did the info from this release end up in another thread?

yes, there's a sticky thread that details the new M50i for the X5 and X7. There's also the new pricing guidelines which show 4 models coming to the US for 2020. 40i sDrive, 40i xDrive, 50i xline, M50i msport.

Ah, I see. It's a bit weird that the mobile bimmerpost puts the stickies in a separate location from all of the other threads. I thought it wasn't being discussed at all.

There is no doubt I would wait for X5 M5.0. The 2019 X5 5.0 with m sport cost almost the same. I'd rather have all the extras the M5.0 gives. M sport exhaust, m brakes, 70extra hp, m suspension etx. No brained for me wait for 2020

Yeah that frustrates me too. That and posters locations. Impossible to tell if someone is talking about the US spec G05 or the euro.

I don’t think those metal pieces on the front lower air intakes, side vents and mirrors looks more aggressive than all shadow line black. I can’t believe it doesn’t have a all black grill.

I think they will offer a shadowline trim option to black everything out. I recall seeing that somewhere.

I can't decide if I will do the shadowline or cerium grey ... i really like the cerium. Thinking Mineral White Metallic with Cerium will look sharp.

Different strokes for different folks. I personally dislike the all blacked out look. Shadowline trim is very nice, but not at all interested in a black grill. Very glad BMW did not make it standard on the M50i.

We all thought the black Grill was going to be there but keeping with tradition, BMW is only offering it on full M-Cars. You are right, we all need to put our own style on our X5's.

The Cerium finish looks great and then.... the fingerprints all over it. I always make sure to touch my friend's mirror caps on his M550i whenever I see him
The oils from skin leave a lovely reminder for him...that the cerium gray finish was a mistake (I warned him...but what do I know). I encourage his kids do the same.

Smile It's a great theme.

I'll take a lot of you guys input. I'm driving a 2018 x3 m40i with a three-year lease. I've been planning on what cars I can exchange if my contract ends soon. Maybe its because I have driven a lot of performance cars in the past few years and my personality is more mature than before, so I expect that the next vehicle will be more comfortable and ample space while considering performance.
