[QUOTE=maczrool;24996102]Does that turn them into the full euro spec with the higher output too or just the anti-dazzle?[/QUOTE

Good question. I would assume just Anti-Dazzle.

What exactly does "anti dazzle" mean?

LED headlamps operate a string of LEDs that are focused ahead of the vehicle. When the high-beams are active, any LEDs that would blind an oncoming car or a car that you are overtaking are dimmed so as to not blind the oncoming / overtaken driver. Keeps the remainder of the LEDs not affecting other drivers on high.

The car will automatically dip the highbeam or turn off some of the individual LED's in the light so that the highbeam does not blind oncoming drivers.

It doesn't seem to work very well on curved roads in my experience.

Does this coding for anti-dazzle apply to laser or adaptive LED? Both were mentioned here so it’s unclear.

Thanks! You'd think they would call it anti blind....I searched the internet but just didn't find a good explanation, yours works for me

Laser come with adaptive LED so one in the same. If you have just the LED option I don't think so.

What specifically will the coding do?

In the F15 with LED lighting package, anti-dazzle was a thing. I'm less clear as to whether the laser itself on the G05 is affected by anti-dazzle coding since (as far as I know) it is a laser-based light projection system.

It's a LED light projection for low and high beams. Laser augments the high beams over 40mph. The majority of the time the X5 will be in LED due to ambient lighting.

But yes the tunneling anti-dazzle works with adaptive LED and adaptive LED with Laser

I understand that the LEDs in the laser lighting system can be programmed for anti-dazzle. My question is whether the laser projector has that same ability. That was not at all clear to me.

The lasers are adaptive and do not tunnel, it's off/on and only for distance.

AL produces the laser lightning module for BMW

"The new LASER-module II is used jointly with a LED sub-assembly on a quasi-cardanic pivoting unit. Controlled by camera-information, it can be used as well in partial high beam."

That was my guess... suspicion confirmed.
