I received a BMW recall message, they say that there might be an issue with how the trunk lip spoiler is attached. They suspect that it may fly off at speeds greater than 190 km/h, if not glued on properly.

While this seems like a relatively minor thing, it's worth checking it out...you never know, you might get sued by someone who gets hit driving behind you on the autobahn

190kph/118mph?!

I doubt my car will ever see close to that speed.

Besides, I doubt the spoiler could be attached any worse than all of the Ali-express spoilers with fake 3m tape. Perhaps its not up to BMW's exacting standards, but I would guess its more secure than most aftermarket installations.

If I get the recall, i'll let them sort it when it goes in for some other service. I'm not sending it in just for that.
