Fuel gauge disappearing in instrument display

Got me 2020 X5 10 days ago and noticed that I only see the fuel level when I press the BC button, it then displays the fuel gauge and after 3-5 seconds it disappears again..weird. Anyone else encountered this? Is there a way to program the car so the fuel level will always be displayed. FYI, I ordered this custom from the S.C. factory and it has pretty much every conceivable option package available.

Well mine is not as fancy as your's. My fuel read out cannot be removed by the BC button it's always at the bottom left of the cluster.

Settings. Display. Instrument panel. You might have "reduced mode" on. It removes the extra visuals. It's a nice feature but gas should always stay on imo

I actually kind of really like reduced mode. I just wish it was one of the options you could toggle through, instead of only having either reduced mode or everything else mode

I prefer to have instrument cluster in reduced mode too.

Cleaner design. Less distractions. Makes me focus on the road and driving. Especially with HUD

Fuel level will be always on, even in reduced mode, bellow certain threshold. Less than 1/4 of the tank, I think.

Do the 2019s have reduced mode?
I'm unable to find this setting on mine.

I can't either. Would love to know if it's possible to code.
