my last pair on another x5 were still perfect after about a year… these things are so cheap if I can get a year before it peels I’m happy. They look pretty sharp right now.

If you break the plastic on the mirror housing itself, best you can do is superglue or epoxy back on. If you break the tabs on the mirror caps, then you probably will have to replace the mirror caps as the tabs are very small/flimsy.
