Dravit grey vs Brooklyn grey LCI
Hi all ,I am just after taking delivery of a 23 e45 in dravit grey and love the colour ,I find darker colours harder to keep but this may not be an issue as iv got an e50 on order in Brooklyn grey ,I’m really torn tho as I think the dravit looks great too .very undecided ,I have seen pics of the LCI in Brooklyn grey but have not yet seen any dravit grey ,if anyone has taken delivery of either colour could they post pics,I am currently as status 112 ,also any feedback on the new e50 would be greatly appreciated,I am in Ireland also 🇮🇪

Here are some pics I snapped at the dealership last weekend. First here is Brooklyn Grey on an X5 outdoors and an X7 indoors.

Brooklyn definitely does change quite a bit between direct sunlight and overcast settings. I originally planned to order Brooklyn but I wasn’t quite as pleased with it in person on the X5. Obviously, color is very subjective and it is a really nice color, however, I don’t think it works as well on larger vehicles. The best way I’ve found to describe it in daylight is that you’re viewing an overexposed photo of a white or light colored vehicle. You tend to lose most of the body lines with Brooklyn.

Thanks Bmwx5z ! I’ve been soaking up all the pics and videos I can find. Mine will be an M Sport with M Sport Pro since I think the shadowline trim works better with Manhattan Green. I’m also opting for the 915M wheels and Coffee Merino interior.

I currently have a 2021 45e in mineral white with extended shadowline and the 940M wheels. It looks fantastic and I don’t think you can go wrong with mineral white. I do feel like skyscraper grey is a great color. It is fairly dynamic and can appear lighter in daylight and darker in low light. It has a lot of metallic flake and many times looks like high polish metal to me.

BMW colours strike me as very impressive. When I was looking, I was often hit with a "What is that" moment as I watched colours shift in the light: Dravit Grey, Brooklyn Grey, Arctic Grey, Carbon Black with blue highlights, etc.
I ended up choosing MGM because there's no way to describe "greenish grey" but when people see the car it's a "wow"! |

I do not see blue that often. I think it shows more blue in photos than in real life. I live in Michigan where it hasn’t snowed a tremendous amount in the last several years, but any given winter can be messy. It certainly gets cold here, so my plan is to swap to all seasons in the fall. I’ve been looking for a set and the rear tires are back ordered everywhere. If I can’t locate a set in time, I may have to opt for winter tires.
