That's a really nice setup! You will love it. I ordered a black-on-black version of what you got, and mine is fully loaded as well I'm scheduled to take delivery 7 days from now, and I'm stoked!

The wait has been nearly unbearable so far, but I'm just impatient

This is a proper build mate. It's going to be great!

I actually worried about an absence of AS a little bit, but I made my mind that adaptive M sus. professional seems another good and comfortable suspension for daily driving.

I am not aware of the synergy of merino leather with adaptive M sus. pro but just want to believe they are super comfort as much as air sus.

Thanks, I just can't wait to drive my car.
Can you tell me about the suspension of X5 M50i if your one is also equipped the same one as mine?

I have no complaints about the suspension. With the roads around here being generally not great, the cushiest suspensions won't mask the nonsense I'm running over in these parts of the NY/NJ metro. As far as the DHP as a whole, that's been a dream. I deliberated so long about that package and I'm so glad I went for it. There's a certain grace that the SUV has on the road that is a little tough for me to describe. As my SA described it, it sometimes feels like the car is on rails. That is a proper build man. You will love it.

(I knew the production number and the VIN number is updated in my BMW garage once it is created??)

Good to hear, since some of the car reviewers complained about the missing Air Suspension (AS) in M50i (also tackled about the X5M's suspension too) by comparing suspension setting of M50i and X5M with that of Porsche cayenne's AS and Mercedes'.
Based on your comment, I will definitely fall in love after driving my car for just 5 mins :-)

You should ask your sales person what the build week is. He/she should be able to give you this relatively easily.

Mine was scheduled for week 20 (this week) and went into "Production Begins" status last week, at which point a VIN was assigned (but doesn't mean assembly has started). The build week can be pulled forward or pushed back but this is the best indication of when your X5 will be produced.

I dont want to bust your balls. You should look at other dealers that has allocations. I build mine because the dealer I used was able to get me an Allocation. Without an allocation, your order is in LIMBO. And if there are further parts shortage. Your build has not been appropriated yet. So find one that has allocation. Go straight to the Sales manager and they can tell you right away if they have or they can get one right away.

I have Week 22 Build allocation and my status has changed to Scheduled for production...

He talked me that he found an allocation slot so I get the production # but seems not enough to get a build week?

Yeah, knew that would be an issue from the start. But with this build, I was certainly willing to wait the extra time. And just received confirmation of a PCD date of 6/23....the end is in sight!

If you call 800-831-1117 and go through the prompts it will eventually ask you if you want to speak to a representative. They will be able to tell you which week.

Oh, the representative estimates that my one is likely to start to build in week 22~23.
Thanks for the tip!
