a couple of mods

I just ordered a couple of cosmetic parts for my wife's M50i which I often drive. I am really looking forward to having these installed because these black polished cosmetic pieces look great on a white vehicle to create the perfect contrast. I am sure many of you have already put these parts on, but I will post pictures as soon as they are put on.

Sir,
Can you tell me where you purchased the rear diffuser? Is it from BMW? Do you have a part number?
Thank You

I ordered it through Amazon.ca. I initially looked for it in Ebay, but Amazon offered faster shipping. There are many buying options available online. The one that I purchased is a plastic piece for $170.89 CAD. I believe the carbon fibre one is almost double that price. The side mirror caps are also plastic from Ebay. I did not want the carbon fibre look since it is not the real M model, but I wanted the blacked out parts to match the rest of the vehicle.

The rear diffuser finally arrived, so I decided to apply a layer of ceramic coat before installing. The item came very well wrapped in several layers of protective covers. It is very easy to install this unit. All you need to do is just unscrews about 5-6 screws and rip off 2 plastic rivets. I got a bag of BMW rivets from NAPA auto that seems to have worked flawlessly. The part number for the rivets is 665-3139 if anyone is interested. The second picture shows what is behind the diffuser.

Once I get the mirror caps, I will follow up with more photos.

This looks very nice on white!! But is this the same copy of m performance rear diffuser except it is not carbon but painted in black? Or this is another type of a rear diffuser?
