275/30/22 front and 335/25/22 rear.
Front rolling diameter is 28.5, rear is 28.6. Almost perfect, and well within acceptable parameters

315s on an 11.5 inch wheel? That is going to be VERY stretched, especially on a 22" wheel.

stock sizes in 22inch are 9,5x22 and 10,5x22 running 275/35/22 and 315/30/22
i went with 10x22 front and 11x22 rear and mounted the stock tire sizes. customs offsets off course for a more aggressive look. Knowing how sensitive the xdrive systems can be i would be carefull with not changing the wheels equally.. And where i live BMW can sometimes make a big deal out of not running BMW rated tires when problems arise with the drivetrain or something. And i can honestly say, xdrive systems do get messed up running wrong tires or not changing all 4 of them when they get worn out. |

Have you seen a current X5 or 6 M? They run that size tire on the 22x11.5" rear, doesn't look too stretched at all imo.

Yeah it should not be too bad. Kind of depends on the tire brand also, Pirellis are usually narrower then for example Continental or Michelin. If you like a more streched look or need more room at the fenders, Pirelli is a good bet.

Take into account that a wider Conti will most likely give you more protection from curbrash then a narrower Pirelli with rim protection. And surely a little more comfort. But like i said above everyone should do what they feel is right. |

As far as I know you're limited to either Continental or Pirelli summers, or a Pirelli all season. Unless I'm wrong there's no options from anyone else in a matching set in this size at this time. (Or Pirelli snow tires)

Yes, for now these are the only two brands that have a bmw star rated tire in those sizes. You can probably find some alternatives, but i would not risk it.
