Question Factory options for All Black Rims?

Dear Forum, on my '17 X6M, i have gorgeous glossy, all black rims. I see there is no option on the new X5MC i just ordered. Does anyone know if this is possible at all from the factory or do we have to go third party?

Thank you!

If you don't care about glossy, all you need to do is just brake from time to time, and factory wheels magically become black.

Probably new performance parts coming soon. Maybe another factory option for 2022?

I don't believe there is an option, however you can always powder coat the wheels if you want them all black. I did see a brand new M50 on the lot today when I drove through that had 22" gloss black wheels from the factory front and back. I was surprised because the M has 21" up front and 22" in the back. Not sure why the M50 has 22" all around as an option and the M doesn't.

Yes i know the M50i has other options that the X5M doesn't and my questions was, is there a way after ordering to contact the factory to just switch the wheels to ones that aren't included in the build? I think the answer is no but i just hate wasting money to pull off the wheels and tires, have them repainted, then put back on. It should be able to be done during the build.

That answer is no, but I'm also not sure the m50 wheels would work on the x5M. I could be wrong.

The gloss black 22" wheels for the other models would possibly fit, but I think they'd be tucked compared to the X5M wheels.
Also most of the wheels the X5M comes with are 10.5" wide front and 11.5" rear, the ones on the non M models are 9.5" front and 10.5" rear at most.

Maybe with some spacers they'd work.

If you really want all black, nothing looks better than the two comp wheels, unless you go custom, so just powder coat them.

Most reputable powder coat shops will do gloss black for 80-90$ per wheel.
