Alan, I got first dibs on those wheels when you're parting out or moving into your next project!
MBB is stunning, in that sun light.

the only reason I'm posting these pics is because these are BEFORE I washed the car this afternoon ... and MBB STILL pops, BEFORE the wash
(like many on this forum I am semi-certifiable OCD ... my wife asked me today on my / our day off whether I needed to wash my car ... I sighed inwardly because I felt I did ... but, for her, I held my OCD in (I know .. hero) and said "no, honey, let's just go out, the car is fine" ... got to our lunch spot and thought, "Ok, F-it, I'm going dirty and just taking the photo" ... and this was the photo MBB is very nice

without wishing to upset non-MBB owners, i do think this colour is THE colour for the X6M / X5M. because of the size of the cars, there is just SO much paint! my experience is that as MBB is so nice i find myself actually enjoying the process of keeping the car clean, almost as if i'm doing the wider world a favour by allowing them to enjoy seeing such a bright colour in all it's glory! the 1st photo was taken in the shade (under a canopy of trees ... try not to think of the sap, try not to think of the sap........), and the colour looks a deeper shade, whereas in the bright sun it looks more metallic (which i prefer) BMW blues are special, this MBB is art

I've found that indulging my mid-life crisis by buying an MBB X5MC has meant a crisis is now a celebration i asked Mrs 155ND if i could buy a Ferrari 488 GTB in Blu Corsa, and was told "no" ... so, "down-graded" my request to an MBB X5MC and ... the rest is history my dad warned me about the mid-lfe crisis, but i've found it to be a good excuse to buy a beast of a car ... cheers dad

Greetings from Norway ???
Received my X5 last Friday and took the whole family on a road trip to the west coast. Excellent roads for this car. Did 1700km in 6 days… no complaints from the wife, kids or cops… 😎

Here are a few pics of mine finally all done (for now). While waiting for alignment it was perfect opportunity to snap a few in daylight. Big thanks to Ben r33_RGSport for installing MSS, Akra and 25mm H&R Spacers. Very pleased with the stance and ride quality.

Hybrid_eg. Truck looks so fantastic. We are twinning but for, mine is debadged and im running the H&R springs and my spacers are 18mm all around. Good thing we're on opposite coasts. I also blacked out all my roundels on body and wheels. Other than those minor subtleties, looks same. You obviously have great taste. Oh, and my wheels were PC'd gloss. Looks like yours are satin.

Thinking about redoing stock rims in brushed dark bronze (almost black/brown but a little gold)… thoughts?
I am also getting calipers painted yellow with M logos replaced. |
