As said 45k is an awful lot of money to pay for the better interior so in terms of value the X3MC is a better bet and I wouldn't expect an X5M to keep up with the X3MC on a country road too big too heavy and a bit sloppy.

I agree i would never buy a Jeep myself but just saying there are lots of reasons for why each of these cars exist. X3M is like a bigger M3 in terms of luxury and handling characteristics. X5M is a bigger M5. Different caliber cars imo...

45k price difference when leasing is a few hundreds extra a month— not that big a deal. I have a current '18 X5M and it is a beast when the engine and transmission is set to sport or sport + mode, and drive logic at 2/3 bars. I'm certain my current F85 can keep up with the X3MC. Placed my order for a '21 F95 comp without a test drive, that's how much I trust BMW M engineers that they will not disappoint👍

Eh . X3m comp does 60 in 3.3 with launch control. I know the X5 will rocket past in upper rpms but in real world driving, rather have the x3m. Now if you need space.. different story.

Totally agree, the X3M seems like real bargain in comparison. How are you getting on with yours?

How's the daily ride quality between the two ? I had an F85 and REALLY liked that ride. My personal favorite BMW. Had an F95 later. Wife has an F97 Comp pure stock. Always looking ahead.

Completely concur. Someone a couple streets over have an X3MC and it looks like a Hot Wheel compared to the X5MC. It's not even close in terms of size, luxury and "presence" (whatever that is) IMHO. I am a rather large human being so even the X5MC is confining, meaning anything smaller and I'm just a big black man in a wind up clown car.
