I got all the carbon from the dealership. All are the M Performance Carbon, pretty sure all available on IND and other sites as well.

Great looking X5 - love all the M performance parts. And good to see a local (Seattle)!
I'd get some PPF on your side skirts and rear wheel arches ASAP, especially heading into winter. M Sports with oversized wheel/tire setups are known to collect paint damage down low. Below is a pic of my E70 M Sport some years back, before I had it all professionally stripped & resprayed, and I didn't have any front spacers. When I bought my current F15, I got PPF right away. Just my .02. Enjoy the new ride! |

Not too much of a difference, maybe a little crisper having the darker glass.

That's a really nice X5. Is carbon black a dark blue? Or are my eyes fooling me?

I love the color changes with light. Black/ deep purple in low light and blue in the sun.

I do have a small request for advice for our upcoming wifemobile, which will have 12/15 h&r spacers and bbm lowering links paired with 22” 742m Bicolour wheels. Do you know by how much your car has been lowered? Thank you in advance! |

For the lowering, I set the links at the recommended lengths that are in the instructions. They are adjustable, so you could fine tune and very easy to do. I'm not sure what the overall drop is unless you can give me the stock heights to center of wheel arch and I can measure mine. I put them on the same day I picked it up, so never measured before. |
