Looking for good deal in Oregon

Hi Everyone!
I am new and just found this amazing group.
Wow I have learned so much reading these forums.

I am looking to purchase (custom order) a pretty loaded X5 ($79K) or an X5 M50i ($92K).

In the shopping around I have done all the dealers tell me they have no profit in those cars and are barley willing to take $3K off plus the incentives another $3.5K

I am reading here about people getting >10% discount.

Does anyone have contacts you are willing to share?

I am glad to drive to anywhere in the Pacific Northwest to pick up the car.

I sincerely welcome your help.

I'm in Oregon and had a hard time finding a dealer to order what I wanted for the price I wanted(X5m comp and around 10% off). I ultimately went with an out of state broker.

I recommend getting a car broker and go out of state. That's what I did on a new build. Good luck!

Looked into Brokers, but you are looking at $1200+ to ship to PNW, plus you lose out on the sales tax incentive to trade in, for me, 4% off MSRP locally was a better deal than 9% off from a broker with shipping. I placed my order and am still scouring for a better deal, but resigned to the fact that for the PNW, it is what it is. If I was leasing, I'd go broker.

Oregon is a sales tax free state. Why are you worrying about sales tax credit for trade. I m moving to oregon so what I did is purchased a X5 from nashville with 14% off (with incentives) and ship it to oregon. Since I have to ship a car to Oregon in anyway it will not cost extra for shipping.

I live up the road in Olympia, ~10% Sales Tax, so trade tax credit can mean a significant savings. I shopped BMW dealers in Bend, Portland, Beaverton, Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue and Lynwood. I was able to find around a 6.5% discount of off the lot 40i's in Portland area, but on a custom order 45e, the same dealers wouldn't offer any discount due to demand.

So you live in Washington state? What about the dealers in Washington area?

Washington dealers generally are known for giving the lowest, in many cases none at all, discounts in the country.
