I now realized that the so-called e-fight between fellow members here leading to one of them getting banned may have been related to a Ferrari that I posted in the Cool Pic Thread. Lol.

Having said that, sure doesn't take much to get the boot nowadays.

I confess that I used my steering wheel heater for the first time last night and was pleased with it.

I've never had this feature on any previous vehicle. This would be a must-have if I lived in the NE region for example.

It's not a must have. Just like heated seats aren't. You're usually wearing a heavy jacket and gloves anyway, can't feel either.

I'm pretty sure that if you were to survey most people they would prefer to have heated seats and a heated steering wheel rather than wearing a thick coat and gloves. I'm sure as hell not going to wear gloves when I drive. BTW, you can indeed feel the heated seats even if wearing a heavy coat.

You're right about varying results if surveyed. I am one of those who doesn't find a heated steering wheel nor heated seats to be a must-have. I never ever use either option. In fact, I disabled my heated steering wheel function in my last M4 when I installed the alcantara steering wheel. I also love driving gloves.

Duly noted. Well I don't live there NOW and it has been a very long time. As for weather, yes I give you that. The other stuff is definitely a more recent phenomenon, certainly compared to when I grew up and lived there up to early 90s.
