2020 G05 xDrive rear creaky noise

This should be titled as "creaks and squeaks" instead of just "rear". But it seems I can not edit subject nor delete the post to recreate a new one.

I have done research on this forum and found a few related posts. But only one video to show the issue which does not seem to be mine. So, i am creating a new thread with my own videos to show issues.

1) Front squeaky noises while driving at low speeds on parking lot or city streets. Not going over bumps, no brakes applied and not even bumpy, maybe on only slightly uneven roads I should say.

2) Rear squeaks when I rock the wheels back and forth. Found this issue while I was researching the front noise based on someone's post.

3) I also uploaded a dashcam video of dealer technician test drive and their conservation recorded by my dashcam. Though I heard that they mentioned air suspensions but decided to wait for me to bring it back again, I don't fully understand what they were saying around 2:00 mark. Please let me know if you understand better. I will bring this up to SA and foreman's attention at next visit.

Please turn up the volume to hear creaks and squeaks in my youtube videos. My dashcam voice recording is not that great

Any suggestions of possible causes and fixes will be greatly appreciated!!!

I just consolidate this post to above. But somehow, I could not delete this one. Sorry for being repetitive

Just added another video to the YouTube link above while two technicians test drove to replicate another noise from cluster trim (fixed by simply applying felt tap around later). They happened to hear the squeaky suspension noise that I am researching now. In the video, I can hear they were suspecting air suspensions. But was not able to fully understand their plan at 2:00 mark other than waiting for me to go back again. Let me know if anyone understands what they were murmuring about. Many thanks.

Front noises could be caused by lower control arms. May need higher index parts.

Thanks for the advice. I saw in another thread someone had his control arm to replace and solved the issue. Just not sure if the noise was similar to mine.

So, you do feel the noise in my videos are not normal, right?
I read some articles saying air suspensions do sometimes make creaking noises at motions. I am still collecting others experience before I go to dealer. Don't like 'can't replicate' or 'oh, that's normal characteristic' experience

a new viedo to show noise better

Just uploaded a new video to show noises better where I creeped on an unpaved dirt parking lot in a nearby farm. The noise sounds more consistent and audible in the video. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

My 22 M50i without air suspension makes the same noises from the front. They can replicate it and have replaced a few suspension components. It goes away for a few weeks after I get it back then comes back again. I am assuming at this point its normal.

Thanks for your reply. I just drop off my car at the dealer and they agreed the noise is not normal and looking into now.

A couple of more questions? Do you remember what components they replaced to address your issues? control arms, structs, etc.?
What miles were your car at with the issues? My car is only at 21k. Disappointed suspensions already have problems.

Sorry for the delay, I did not see the message.

So the last time I went they replaced the track rod ends. That was at the end of July. It’s just now starting to make the noise again. But this seemed to be the thing that made it go away.

They have also replaced the tie rods, but those did not make the noise go away.

I started to hear it at about 13k miles. I’m at 24k now.

No worries my friend. Just got my car back today. Been at dealer for 3 days. They replaced left front air spring and the noise seems gone on my way back. But I will keep eyes on it and see it really solved the issue coz I wasn't sure where exactly the noise came from, front, rear, left or right.

just an update on my own thread. Yes, the creaky noise indeed went away after replacing left front air spring. however, 4 month later and just one month after manufacture warranty there is another click noise developing when i turn left at low speed in the parking lot. Dealer diagnosis blames a faulty left tie rod and try to convince me to replace both side and go for an alignment at $2,000. UGH !
