BMW NA cancelled thousands of status 111 orders last month, as my 2020 M4 vert was cancelled at status 111. The bulletin stated that MY2020 orders would be changed over to MY2021, but the customer would responsible for the price increase.

Would be good if we could have some additional colours like Glacier Blue Arctic Silver The standard colour selection is pretty poor for a luxury SUV especially lighter colours. Where I live having a a black dark blue or grey car it's just too hot and your AC struggles especially if you have a sunroof as well

Soon BMW NA will offer only one build type per model, take it or leave it. COVID pandemic = mass layoffs = business need to cut costs/get lean to survive.

I have a 2020 X5 M50i and I LOVE IT! It's loaded w/every single option available except rear seat entertainment (no little kids anymore) & no trailer hitch.
The tech is incredible. The ride feel and handling is amazing in all modes. The car is absurdly fast. Seats are amazing. Build quality inside and out 10 out of 10. There is nothing I can even nitpick to complain about except I didn't get it for free I suppose. This is my 3rd X5 now. Also have an M2. Had an M5 and an M3 in the past. I love this X5 M50i as much as the other M cars and WAY more than the previous gen X5 and the gen before that. A whole new league all around. If you are thinking of getting one of these I highly recommend. The changes for 2021 look good but I didn't miss much since I have the M50i and it was fully optioned. Again it's such a great car. BMW really should be proud of this. I have not driven the full X5M and it was my plan to drive this for a year and give to wife or trade in for the X5M but honestly don't see the need for the X5M as good as the M50i is. |

Any chance the X5 I6 gets the upgraded B58 with 382hp?
I believe the 750i has the X5 m50i engine without being a part of the M performance line up. |

Ja, I've always owned silver BMWs - titanium silver, glacier silver and my favorite sterling grey metallic. Ah the good ole BMW dozen of color days.

Scrapped Night Vision in the 5 series too!? I'll hold out hope these are being caused by supply chain issues given the current situation and maybe these options will make a comeback over the model year or in 2022. If not, I might have to keep my current lease.
