It's probably my fault .....

I was forced to change PW on BMW USA.
So I did. I expected the car to nag, so I was ready with the password printed out..

Putting it in, it wasn't taking it.
In hindsight, maybe the 1st field was re-asking me to put enter my email.
I was toggling menus, home, etc to get it to trigger the PW prompt.
It wasn't so I simply just -deleted- my profile and rescanned the QR code via the BMW app.

Upon doing as such, memory buttons was lost, a setting where driver seat 1/2 kept on popping up and I had to turn it off.
I don't use BMW nav so nothing reset there.
Have to observe to see what other settings was lost due to me just not being patient and figuring how to get the PW prompt for connected.

Anyhow, for my own sanity and wiki, in iDrive 7, what is the most staightforward way to update the password should one end up changing it.

Don't use FM radio but I checked. Save presets did remain.
I'm not so sure if seat memory, mirrors positions zeroed out as the 1st thing I did once I scanned the QR and seeing how I lost the memory buttons. After I finished re-setting those up, I just hit Seat 1 and *save* just to be thorough
