Manhattan Green Metallic

Hello friends,

Upon deciding on the F95 X5M Comp for my next car with my F85 X5M lease maturing on the 23rd, I naturally shopped around dealers to find one on the lot.

With not much luck negotiating on my own, I have ordered one through a dealer with a November slot, slated to be ready mid-December. I will be doing a Spartanburg delivery, so hopefully that speeds it up a little.

When looking at the available X5M's across the country there was a pretty dramatic theme as far as colors go. Mostly Black Sapphire/Sakhir Orange, White/SO or Black, and Marina Bay Blue with Silverstone. There were a few Donington Grey out there, but not as common.

With my current X5M being black sapphire, black wheels and red interior, and my M5 Donington with Silverstone, and previous car white with red, i wanted a change and something different.

I did some debating and while I like MBB/Silverstone, I feel like that's 80% of what is posted. I ultimately decided on Manhattan Green Metallic over Silverstone.

Does anyone own this color or seen it in the wild? I think I'll like it, but there seems to be an aversion to this color. I would have gone Urban Green if it wouldn't have taken 3 months extra. I'd love to hear your opinion and if someone has an in the flesh picture that would be awesome!

Thank you!

A friend of mine had Manhattan Green on his X6 M50i and I've seen a few X5s in it at my local dealer. I was a little uncertain seeing it on the online configurator when they first released it, but seeing it in person I actually really like it. Looks far better in the flesh since it seems more yellowy/gold on the configurator than it actually is. Very subtle green with a lot of metallic flake, and not as overwhelming of a color on the bigger vehicle like Urban Green could be. Think it would be a great choice with midrand beige/alcantara or taruma brown interior.

I just ordered my x5mc in Manhattan green with Sakhir orange. I think (hope) it will look unique!

Yep. Saw this video. Just wish it wasn't so filtered and I wish I had a euro spec order with the carbon fiber mirror covers instead of the cheap black plastic

Fortunately I've seen an X5MC with that color a few months ago. Let me tell you pictures don't do it justice at all.
My cousin also owns an X6 with the same color but I don't know if it's the design ques or the sunlight but it looks absolutely stunning on the X5MC.

interesting choice, I have not seen that combo so Im excited to see how it fairs. I had silverstone in my last M4 (santorini on silverstone) and it looks great. Silverstone is a great color for interior so im sure it will look great. Shows a LOT of the detail of the interior which is never a bad thing with these interiors

I think it will look excellent - I went for Tanzanite / Silverstone. Love the Silverstone interior with the black highlights (running down the middle of the chairs etc).

I just wanted a brighter interior that would showcase the interior lighting. In my 2017 X5M with red interior, the only option that looked good was orange lighting.

I'm convinced that with the aggressive styling of the X5M almost any colors looks good on it. MG normally would be considered a "old mans car color" is nicely balanced out with the aggressive look of the M. While it wouldn't be my first color choice I am a fan

Agree - I think it looks sensational in Donington Grey for example. I really like the metallics on the X5M.
