I am not sure if I got the title right. I have a 2019 X5 with xdrive and the M sport packages. I do not see the active rear diff on my build sheet and from looking under the car it looks like I have the standard diff. My question is, is it a mechanical LSD or is it an open diff? I see the part 33-10-8-686-659 as an LSD and the only option. Please let me know if you have any insight.

If I make a left or right turn and the tire slips, it feels like the brakes are managing the slip, not the diff. Is that just traction control doing it’s job?
