Love it. Agree with others that you can tell BMWs apart but Mercedes (and Audi) all look too similar inside and out.

Fingers crossed on the DHP being available. I know it makes a great handling difference.

I personally think this car looks pretty good, but if someone thinks it's ugly, then it's ugly to them. What kind of fanboy statement is that anyway? |

It was mentioned a while back that the grills would be LED, don't care for in the photo. Attached prototype upclose photograph shows the vertical LEDS.

I am not sure if a LED grill would be awesome, or ricey and chintzy as hell. I need to see it up close. The 10 year old in me thinks it would be awesome, the adult says that i'd look like a moron with a small... appendage.

Looks great... I think the current design people have their heads screwed on straight. Certainly on this one.

Ehhh idk like everything in life these platforms must evolve but the F85/F86 was damn near perfect as far as design is concerned but that's just my opinion.

Kind of reminds me of the Lambo Urus.
I actually like the front. Rear is disgusting and ugly. Side profile is absolute tosh. Not even half of what the previous gen looked like. |

If the grill lights up, we can permanently put to bed the notion that BMW isn't just a junior Mercedes that copies their every move. If this is the case, then poor, little inferior BMW.

I've never understood the appeal of the X6 or any of the SUV/SAV with sloping roof lines. To me, you are paying more for a car that looks funny and has less cargo space. Why would anybody do that?
It turns out that car companies build cars to suit different tastes. So while X6 is not my taste, I will sell like hotcakes to those who like this kind of vehicle. By the way, I realize my comment about less cargo space lacks logic. If I were correct, every sedan would be a station wagon. It's not always about the space. |
