Honestly, this was the easiest I’ve ever bought a car and I was truly shocked that it happened now. Go figure.
I am also in DC Metro area, can you send me the contact information?

I just spoke with my salesperson and he told me he's now unable to offer the same deal that I got. At best he can offer maybe 4% now. I just want to level set as I've gotten a lot of requests for my dealer's information and I don't want anyone to have unrealistic hopes now.

Thanks for the updated information. I am still interested in reaching out to him due to your buying experience. Can you please share his information? Thanks!

Been shopping here in the greater Nashville/ATL area. Best off MSRP I've found for a x5 m50i order is 5.5% off MSRP. Does that sound pretty normal during these times for those that have placed an order (in this region or in general)?

In these times 5.5% is decent. It seems many dealers are charging MSRP. (3 of the 4 I contacted).

Just picked it up from the dealer - MY22 40i - when I ordered back in July, he promised me a flat 7% off list (only for the 40 - not the 50i). He gave it to me yesterday - and said he'd still give that price. They just shipped a car to Utah....

Contact me if you want the details.

Should be within that day or the next... I don't think it happens seconds after you sign... it depends if they already have a allocation in a build or they are waiting for one.

My build sheet had a production number before I even OK'd the build. If you don't get one pretty quick, your dealer doesn't have an open allocation.

Garage List
Based on my research over the past few days ...

NorCal:
3%-4% off MSRP is available from multiple dealers
"my profit is 6.5% why don't I split it with you" is heard at multiple dealers

SoCal:
$10,000 over MSRP, $5,000 over MSRP is common

Washington / Oregon:
Same as NorCal

X5 45e 4% off MARP + Options

I recently optioned an X5 45e from dealer allocation here at the Chattanooga dealership. They were offering everyone 4% off MSRP (based on what my rep said) including all added options and before incentives, wouldn't negotiate beyond that.

Not necessarily anything special, but just letting others know where our region is at. I would also say for my area the 45e isn't quite as popular, but that is great for me as it was scheduled for production completion next week and exactly what I wanted.

I'm in the market for an X5 soon - December. Interested in your intel on any SoCal dealers who will give even small discounts. Will PM you when I unlock!
