H&R wheel spacer defect

Just received my wheel spacers and one of them appears to have a machining issue. Should I keep or send them back?

Can't tell from the picture if it is just a different finish or if it is actually that they run the machine a bit more there and took off some more metal.

It's definitely a machining issue. I put the 2 together and there's a little gap where the imperfection is. Just wondering if anyone had some advice if it will cause me an issue if I install it. Being that it's not completely flat.

Briefly thinking through the physics of it, I'd think it's a dicey proposition - you're looking for an even load force distribution and complete lateral support, and I dunno if you'll get it with this one anymore, at least in the long haul. Seeing as how you're about to mount this on a $75k-$125k ride, I'd suggest asking them directly once just to be safe? Worst case I'm sure that'll kick off the RMA process for you.

I would not install. You want that part to be flat across. I would call their support line and get a replacement.

If it's not flat, I would return it. The wheel needs to sit flush with it.

Thanks, I've decided to return them. Don't want any issues after I install them and then can't return them.
