Torque value for front caliper nuts?
Swapping out my front pads. Any idea of torque setting for the 14mm hex nuts that need to be removed to get to the brake pad? Thanks!

These are stretch bolts they need replacing every time they are removed. Can't remember the torque setting.

Not sure we're talking about the same thing. The ones I removed are simple shoulder nuts. Not bolts. These 14 mm nuts attach to studs on the caliper carrier.

Sorry, but it's pretty straightforward. Remove pad wear sensor. Tap the two pins securing the pads out using a punch. Loosen sensor cables and brake line from grommet holders. Remove the two 14mm hex nuts from the caliper. Slide caliper out. Pads should fall out easily at this point. Might need to compress caliper pistons in to get new pads in. Reinstall pins before sliding caliper back into place. Tighten the two 14mm hex nuts. Reinstall sensor and secure sensor cables and brake line back into brackets.
