I just upgraded my HiFi amp on G05 with the Bimmertech amp. It sounds much better, but the system is slightly muffled, the turn signals are loud and have a delay now, and the alert gong is so loud. Can anyone recommend a profile to download and install to address some of these issues? I have seen profiles for HK systems, but I am unsure if they are the same to use for hifi systems.

Hi... I just went through the same thing like you.

Answers:
- you need to get the system set up by someone who knows what they are doing
- the system needs to be measured... every car sounds a bit different.
- then using that specific measurement, your system can be tuned
- I solved the loud blinker sound by reducing the Center speaker to a lever that I liked, and then adjusted the system to it

In my car, the process was quite long, as noone told me about the steps above.
The installer was not knowledgeable enough to do the tuning. So I had to figure everything out by myself.

I ended up swapping the Subs for the Match 8" Subs... which sound amazing...
But the factory Subs might sound good too... it the tuning is done correctly on them.

You can probably try other people's Tunes... but it may/may not sound right on your system...

I installed the MatchUp8 amp. I found I had to turn down the indicator and alert volumes in iDrive.

What year, which model do you have?

My car (2023 model) has the iDrive 7, and the indicator sounds cannot be adjusted. Only the PDC levels are adjustable.

update: i reached out to bimmertech and they sent me the correct profile for the amp (there are 2 for the g05) and hifi speakers. All works beautifully now! Great upgrade for the money and time spent.
