X5MC Carbon fiber engine cover and mirror caps?

Hi hive brain,

Since we in the US are unlucky enough to have our competition cars fitter with the nice CF accents of our European brothers and sisters (though we pay a heck of a lot less for our cars ), does anyone know where we can get these OEM parts to complete the intended design from BMW?

Rearview mirror caps are extremely expensive, $2k I believe. I think IND has them.

Wow! I remember when I had a 335i back in maybe 2013 mine came with them as an M Performance option and they were less than $500 I believe.

The black is good enough for me.

The engine cover already has a carbon type design on it doesn't it?

I haven't seen the engine cover for sale .. I'm not sure its worth it as the standard cover has a carbon look.

The OEM rear carbon spoiler is cheap, its only around $400USD.

If you want something really special get one of these.

That's exactly what I want (actually the one with the display) but it appears to lack the heat button.

You can have the heat button if you want it. The Australian model BMW's don't have the heat button as its not needed.

Nothing a little CF vinyl can't fix.

Jk, please don't do anything tacky like that on a $100k+ vehicle. Lol

If anyone is still interested I have a CF engine cover off a F95. They retail from the dealer for $ 1800. I am willing to part with it for $1100. The only small flaw is on the underside, one of the 4 ball heads that push down onto the rubber grommets broke off. I am sourcing a replacement and will repair.

Thanks

Why does the Australian car not need heated. Our x6m has heated wheel so does my x5M
