Anyone know what colour that is? Too dark to be Phytonic? Looks like the old Imperial Blue, which would be awesome, but I didn't think was available.

Also imperial blue on msport was not available here before. That would be good if that is in fact an msport model spotted.

I agree. That is the color I have ordered and it really can look different depending on light and angles. Saw it in the X3 in person and it is a pretty crazy blue - really like it.

Hmmm, on the road view of xLINE... errr or possibly no line (no silver rear skid, window surrounds, or roof rails) from the back. Not bad looking in Phytonic blue.

When placing my order a few weeks back, was told to not expect to see any deliveries until mid August, but who knows. Looking like I'll be in the first few hundred out of the gate for NA.

This in no way is me being pleased to know. I'm sure my build will be buggy, but the wife fell in love with the car, so we ordered....

My guess is that color is Carbon Black, based on the colors available on the Belgium build your own configurator.

That plastic diffusor at the rear looks like an msport? This is from the UK configurator.
The msport one has the darker diffusor with carbon black.
The silver diffusor is the xline.
But then again US and European models differ a lot.

The underguard on the on-the-road X5 is unpainted - like no Line. Which seems unusual to see a no line in the USA since xLine is standard.

xLine front and rear underguards are finished in silver metal including side air breathers which have a silver edging around it.

M sport in body color.

Yah, easy to differentiate between no/X line and M sport with the different reflector positioning also.

Yeah, this one that was spotted is some sort of bastard child X5. It has "no line" lower trim, M-Sport gloss black window trim, and no roof rails (which are standard on every X5 in the US). So clearly this is some test mule.

My eyes could have been deceiving me b/c it was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet, but I'm pretty sure I saw one on the road in Milton/Alpharetta GA. Same color as this guy - wondering if it was the same one.
