Any thoughts on the ct 200h? Thinking of getting one for my little sister to drive and save gas with.

I think it\'s a good car but lack the luxury I want... (manual steering wheel and passenger seat) but it seems pretty good for the price loaded is only 40k

ouch! 40k for a prius is a bit much...I wouldn't mind the 32k model and I wouldn't spend a dime over it. If she's driving mostly freeway the new 3 is going to get mid 30's mpg and the a3 tdi is a better option

I don't mind the outside of it, but the inside is horrible. It feels just like I'm sitting in a Corolla, and doesn't feel Lexus-y at all. Might as well just get a Corolla, because that thing never runs out of gas anyway.

The drive IMO isn't as bad as some people say it is, I mean it's not a performance vehicle but it's pretty comfortable and gets you from a to b with good mileage.

And yeah she thinks it's a really "cute" car haha I personally like the exterior as well, interior needs some minor tweaks tho...

It's a good second car to have in the garage!

I'd get an A3 tdi for that price. Diesel > gasoline hybrid.

not a fan of the a3 and it doesn't have the tech i want in it (nav,cam). not sure about nav tho but its not on the site.

was picking from a c300, an infiniti ex, a4 and the ct. mom didn't like the c class and i was never a mb fan (love the cls tho!!!!) , was getting a terrible deal on the a4 and the ex. couldn't wait on the f30 either as they wanted the car asap..

so it boiled down to availability and mileage. only infiniti had what we wanted in stock and kind of had to compromise on some things as well.

the ct's in vancouver have a really low supply and take about 2-4 mos to arrive. i called up a dealership and they surprisingly had one in stock with exactly what i was looking for. placed the order and will pick it up on tuesday!

now if only my 5er suddenly appears in stock as well....... stupid feb production......

I do understand the badge thing though, I'm a bit of a badge whore myself. Would you want to consider the IS instead? I know it's a couple grand more, I but think that you'd actually be getting a "Lexus".

I would definitely rock one but if saving money on gas is your thing, you might want to reconsider a 40K car.

IMO a car with decent mileage at around that price is a TSX, bur congrats on the Lexus anyway

The entire interior is just a piece of plastic, which makes it feel cheap.

I went with the beige interior and it does not feel or look as cheap as it does with the black. Not to say that it's the most luxurious vehicle in the world but I feel that it is pretty good for what you're paying and it serves it's purpose as an extra car.

To be honest, I was pretty surprised myself that I liked the car during the test drives. Doesn't feel like a cheap Toyota or hybrid when you're inside sitting or on the road driving.

Sit in one. The interior is nothing like sitting in a Corolla. It's definitely not Lexus's best interior by a long shot, but it's not bad at all.

40K??? I just went on their website and they start at 29K..... I found used ones that were in the mid 25s.. Plus its a Lexus it will never have issues like any other car manufacturers.

In fact just found a "used one" with 5k miles on it for 27K.. Could probably talk them down more too..

I have to say my girlfriend has very long legs and had trouble fitting them in the drivers seat

Have to remember, we in Canada get shafted when it comes to getting deals and buying cars,not as bad as in Europe tho but still pretty crappy compared to Americans.... Even when the states is like an hour away... Oh and you guys have cheaper insurance and lower taxes!!!!

Can't really compare prices because you guys have better deals on everything! The money I'm paying for my loaded 535xi is probably a loaded 550xi down in the states... I'd be trying to convince my parents to get a cls, panamera or m5 instead of my 535 if I lived in the states!
