For a few dollars ($6, to be exact), I added a cosmetic piece to cover up the under seat ac vents' gaping holes.

Not a bad mod, right? See before and after pics.

Great idea, help the rest of us with how you sourced the grilles. I know sooner or later those open tubes would collect something that did not belong.

Did you notice any diminished airflow or function by putting the covers in? Does it make any sort of whistle or air sucking noise with the air coming out the holes? Does it just slide into place or does it fasten in somehow?

It slides into place.

Air flow is not restricted and no noise with ac at highest setting.
