I did the carbon fiber vent edge already. Installed before delivery by dealer.
I just need the small M60i badge that fits within the vent spline as well.
Interested if anyone finds.....

The badge should be what Roamio posted on the previous page: 51-14-5-A41-221 (that's #8). Attached is the pic of this particular badge that I ordered. The length is 3-5/16"

Thanks WTGBMW,

I did order that exact (2) emblem(s) based on the earlier post in this thread.

Upon receiving, it looks like it is just a little too large for the US vent. I change my mind every weekend about affixing it to the vent. I remain undecided.

The US vent has no special recessed inlay on the upper-most fin to accept the emblem like the non-US vent assembly does. So it must be placed under or between the upper most fins. It changes the "finished" look in my eyes.

I have the side vents off ready for the Autotecknic's to come in tomorrow according to UPS.

6 clips and double sided tape hold the factory side vent base plates on and it's a bit of a fight to get them off.

Looking forward to seeing the new ones.

Just got the side vents in and they were packaged nicely for shipping. Went on just like factory. Very happy with something different over the plain black side vents the M60i came with.

The M60i badge I had bought previously that is OEM, will not fit this side vent, so will be keeping the X5M badging on it. The X5M lettering, unless it's in direct sunlight is very lowkey.

Looks great! Well done.
Thanks for mentioning the M60i emblem wasn't a fit too.
I like the X5 M emblem.

Did you have to change the stock side vents to add the lettering? I definitely want to order the lettering (I’m assuming it’s a sticker from what other people in this thread said) but don’t want to buy all new vents

Damn! I was really trying to avoid having to buy whole new vents. I’m leasing for the first time so it’s probably not worth it to me but it does really look so good

I agree. If you are leasing then I wouldn’t do it either.
