Question, what will the motorway assist be. The current traffic jam assist with a higher max speed, or will it be something all new?

Usually, the headlights and taillights get updated as with the bumper, but I honestly can’t see any difference, especially the rear taillights, which look identical to the existing model.

If they decide to increase this, it will be incremental, not revolutionary.
The current iX (and i4?) has their latest cell tech. If I remember correctly, these are a 5%-10% more dense/powerful over the ones in the 45e. My guess: that is the maximum battery increase we can dream of. My wishes for the 45e LCI are: * at least 7kW charging * stronger electric motors. I find electric mode a bit under powered. * significant increase of battery size (will not happen, I think) |

Probably look pretty much like a scaled up version of the G01 LCI.

When do you guys think BMW will come with the next new design (meaning totally a new different design (inside out). I think X5 version 5 is next whenever that take place.

8/2026 per the first post. Probably unveiled several months prior to that. Happy that this generation will have a long cycle. Personally it's my favorite current BMW design.

That would be an 8-month production window for MY 2023 then (7/22-3/23). That would mean they've offered the same X5 body for 5 model years.... That's an unusually long run in a modern BMW before an lci. Thanks njnets... |

I think this test mule also have the updated dash?
I don't think I see back of my steering wheel that much through the windshield. Also there is no bump for the dash. |
