What kind of paint? How many coats? Any other surface prep? I assume something non-ignitable at higher temperatures and something robust/flexible enough to not chip would be appropriate?

Before I use primer, but I found out it will make the paint too heavy, this time I put 2 coat of paint then wait for 30 mins then wet sand it a bit then put 2 more layer. I use the same way to paint my front grill 2 months ago and the paint hold up pretty good |

I think this may be the worst way you can paint your exhaust tips. |
