Loose cable next to the cabin filter housing?

I replaced the cabin filters in my 2021 X6M, and as I was struggling under the dash, I pulled a cable that was tucked behind the filter housing. I was worried that I unplugged it from somewhere, but I did not see any open plugs. The cable has a male plug with maybe 6 or 8 terminals. Any ideas?

It’s probably for the LED cabin ambient floor lighting but hard to know without a visual.

I didn't snap a photo, but I think the ambient lighting works. Its a loose cable with a male plug on the end with 6 or 8 prongs. I wonder if it could be some kind of a test port, I could not find a female plug anywhere that it would plug into.
