4x4 malfunction error on 2021 x5 45e

Hi, wife experienced this error message this afternoon and the steering wheel became very heavy to operate. Fortunately it goes away after restart. Did anyone experience this before? Is that something I should concern about? Thanks!

From what I’ve heard this is a common issue with outdated software. It happened to my 2021 and I took it to my dealer and they upgraded the software and it was fixed
