Is it possible to prioritize the ICE on 50e?

Hey guys,
we have had our 50e for a week or so and i have a question or two.

Recently i went on a little trip with some b roads, some highway driving (120kmh) and some in the city centre of a big city. The trip was about 140km. I used the in car navigation to the city so it would keep the battery % for the city driving, but the car (in hybrid mode) used nearly 90% of the energy on the way there and on the highway (leaving none of it for the city and way back).

Is there any way (in hybrid mode) to prioritize the engine for example on highways (or somewhere where you go constant speeds), or do i need to put the car into sport mode to turn the ICE on? (with the downside of the fuel consumption going up rapidly)

subquestion:
If i turn on the battery hold (for example at 50% SOC) does this mean the ICE will be on most of the time trying to keep the charge for later use?

Thanks in advance, for any form of help!

Use battery hold. It’ll hold whatever % the battery is at until you turn it off.

I have a similar trip for my daily commute: Little suburbs, some highways and then inner-city driving to my office. Especially with battery performance down in the winter months, I can't go total battery for the roundtrip commute (and I don't want to recharge in the office garage where rates are far higher than the equivalent of premium gas). So I'll typically use battery hold for a portion of the commute on the highway when I'm at regular, higher speed and the ICE is presumably operating more efficiently than going battery-only. And that ensures I have battery for the inner-city and suburb driving.
